Helene Cahen is an experienced innovation consultant, facilitator and trainer, with over 20 years of insight in market research, communications and new product development. She has a proven record of guiding her clients toward user-centered innovation, helping them discover solutions that are specifically tailored to address their organizations' evolving needs.
Ms. Cahen's international experience spans from managing multi-million dollar marketing research budgets for The Clorox Company, to directing agency advertising campaigns for packaged goods companies such as Unilever, Nestle and Kraft Foods. She has held executive and management positions in advertising, marketing research as well as HR, finance and sales. Additionally, as an independent consultant for the past eleven years, Ms. Cahen has received multiple accolades for her valuable assistance to fortune 500 as well as small businesses and non-profits.
Trained in Creative Problem Solving and Design Thinking, Ms. Cahen received a Master's of Sciences in Creativity and Change Leadership from the State University of New York in 2008. She has spoken on the topic of design thinking at many conferences (ACA, CPSI, Expert to Expert). In addition to her private practice, she is also a facilitator, a coach and a lecturer at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
Ms. Cahen was born and raised in Paris, France and graduated with a business degree from one of the French Elite School, the Institut D'Etudes Politiques de Paris. She believes in giving back to the community through financial giving as well as pro-bono and volunteer work for non-profit organizations.
